Resolving NPM command not found errors in Bash
Node Package Manager or npmis a package manager for JavaScript programming language. It is the default package manager for the Node.js runtime environment.

/usr/local/Create a directory under .
sudo mkdir -p /usr/local/nodejs
/usr/local/nodejs/Move the node file under .
sudo mv node-v17.6.0-linux-x64/* /usr/local/nodejs/
Add /usr/local/nodejs/binthe directory to .bashrcthe file PATH.
sudo nano ~/.bashrc
export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/nodejs/bin
Reload .bashrcthe file.
source ~/.bashrc
Install npm.
curl -L https://npmjs.org/install.sh | sudo sh
You can successfully install the tool by selecting the tool that best suits you from these options npm. To check the installation, check the version of the tool.
node --version
npm --version
