Common problems and solutions for cordova packaging android

Author:JIYIK Last Updated:2025/04/07 Views:

Problem 1: Android cannot send network requests

There was a problem when cordova was packaging Android. After packaging, it was impossible to send a request (whether it was http or https). In the end, I had to delete the original project and then rebuild it.

Problem 2: Build Android reports an error

After installing the cordova-plugin-image-picker plug-in, cordova cordova build androidreports an error when using packaging

在文件 ***\ImageFetcher.java:294EntryLinkedHashMap中不是公共的,无法从外部程序包中对其进行访问。
protected boolean removeEldestEntry(LinkedHashMap.Entry<Integer,Bitmap> eldest){

The final solution is to first import the class package in ImageFetcher.java import java.util.Mapand then go to line 294 of the file, which is the location of the code shown in the error above, and modify the code as follows

protected boolean removeEldestEntry(Map.Entry<Integer,Bitmap> eldest)... //后面的代码就省略不写了。

Then save it and try again cordova build androidto succeed.

Question 3: Gradle version problem

When packaging, sometimes the following error is reported

minimum supported Gradle version is 4.6. Current version is 4.1 If using the gradle wrapper try editint the distributionUrl in ***\gradle-wrapper.properties to gradle-4.6-all.zip

From the above information, we can see that the currently supported gradle version is 4.6, but the one we are using is 4.1. So we need to upgrade. The upgrade is actually very simple. Find line 227 in the platform/android/cordova/lib/builders/StudioBuilder.js file and change the following gradle-4.1-all.zip to gradle-4.6-all.zip. Then cordova build androidit can be executed normally.
