In this article, we will see how to open HTML files using the default browser on Mac using Bash.
Opening HTML files with Bash
To open a .html file, first, we need to create a file name with a .html extension.
example:
We can see that we have created a .html file using the touch command. There are three .html files in the folder, which we can see using the ls command.
We need to open any .html file available in that folder. To open the test.html file, we need to use the following command in the same directory where the .html file is located.
Order:
open ./test.html
We can also use the man command:
man open ./test.html
