To open a .html file, first, we need to create a file name with a .html extension.

example:

Use the touch command to create an html file and use the ls command to view the folder

We can see that we have created a .html file using the touch command. There are three .html files in the folder, which we can see using the ls command.

We need to open any .html file available in that folder. To open the test.html file, we need to use the following command in the same directory where the .html file is located.

Order:

open ./test.html

We can also use the man command:

man open ./test.html

We can also use the open command with the -a flag to open a file or location in any target application (Google Chrome).
