Explain in detail how Supervisor shuts down tasks
The following task names are represented
goserver
by
In Supervisor, shutting down a task is very simple.
$ supervisorctl stop goserver
Just execute the above command to close the task you want to close. However, here comes the problem. As we saw in the new supervisor taskcommand
, the option in the configuration file is used to configure the command to be executed to start a task. In this way, we can define this program ourselves.
$ supervisorctl start goserver
When executing the command to start the task above, the supervisor actually executes command
the configured command. So does the supervisor provide an option for the command to be executed when stopping the task? If so, we can let the program do something when stopping the task. But unfortunately, there is no such option. Supervisor stops the task by sending a signal to the process. In the configuration file, you can use options to specify what signal to stop.
[program:yourtaskname]
...
stopsignal=QUIT ; signal used to kill process (default TERM)
stopwaitsecs=10 ; max num secs to wait b4 SIGKILL (default 10)
...
stopsignal
It is used to specify what signal to send to stop the process. If you do not specify this option, the default is to use the TERM signal to stop the process. If you specify it, the corresponding signal will be sent to stop the process. So we only need to receive the corresponding signal in our program and perform the corresponding operation. stopwaitsecs
It is used to specify the waiting time (in seconds) to stop the task. That is to say, the signal specified by stopsignal is sent to terminate the process, and the program has a lot of things to do after receiving the signal. If it has not been executed after the waiting time, the supervisor will use the ultimate trick and send a SIGKILL signal to terminate the process. At this time, no matter what your program is doing, it will be ruthlessly terminated.
