Ignore spaces in Git using git diff command
If we have a file with 700 lines of code, and we change tabs to spaces in 400+ lines, our view will have multiple copies of our changes git diff.
We can ignore spaces using the following options.

git diff -wthe command to ignore all whitespace differences. It will ignore whitespace at the beginning, middle, and end of the line. -
We use
git diff --ignore-space-at-eolthe -difference command to ignore whitespace changes at the end of lines. Whitespace at the beginning and in the middle of lines will be preserved in the git diff output. -
git diff --bIsgit diff --ignore-space-changea short form of , ignoring spaces at the end of lines. The command considers other sequences of one or more spaces as equivalent. -
Note that there is no built-in solution for ignoring only leading line whitespace. You can use
git diff --ignore-space-at-solan older patch that supports . -
We can use
