Git list remote branches

A remote repository is a project hosted on a server, such as Github/Gitlab.
git remote
Allows us to use short names (aliases) to execute commands instead of typing the entire remote URL.
$ git fetch git@github.com:stwarts/git-demo.git

To git remote -v
list detailed information about all remotes, displaying only the names, use git remote
.

Option stands for --verbose
